History

The Mil Mi-24 attack helicopter entered service with the Soviet armed forces in the early 1970s.
It was known for its distinctive and easily recognizable design and possessed high firepower.
Its robust airframe and heavy armor gave the Mi-24 a prominent role within the armed forces of the Eastern Bloc countries, and it was used in numerous theaters of operation.

Over time, the Mi-24's weapons systems and onboard avionics were continuously improved.
Among the various versions produced, the Mi-24P "Hind-F" was equipped with a powerful, fixed-barrel 30 mm cannon mounted on the starboard side of the fuselage.
The latest variant is the Mi-35P, which has been in production since 2020.
