COE trucks of the late 1930s were widely used in the United States for transport, logistics and military support. Their short wheelbase and improved maneuverability made them well‑suited for urban environments and tight loading areas. During World War II, COE vehicles served in supply roles, workshop duties and general support across various U.S. Army branches.
