The 8cm Granatwerfer 34 on Panzerspähwagen AMR (f) represents one of the many improvised German conversions based on captured French vehicles. After 1940, the Wehrmacht repurposed the French AMR 35 light reconnaissance tank, turning some into mobile mortar carriers by mounting the proven 8cm GrW 34 mortar on the chassis. This created a fast, flexible support vehicle capable of delivering indirect fire while keeping pace with infantry and reconnaissance units.
It is an excellent subject for modellers who enjoy unusual or field‑modified vehicles!
