The Humber Scout Car entered production in 1942 and served extensively with British and Commonwealth forces during World War II. Designed for reconnaissance duties, liaison work and troop transport, it became known for its speed, reliability and good cross country performance. The vehicle was operated by British, Canadian, Polish and several other Allied units across Europe.

Variants equipped with twin Bren machine guns offered additional defensive firepower during patrols and scouting missions. An interesting fact is that many crews considered the Humber Scout Car one of the most comfortable light armored vehicles of the war.
