Ace | 72561 | German WWII mobile MG bunker Panzernest | 1:72

Subject: A *Panzernest* (or *Krabbe*) was an armored, portable mini-bunker made of steel. The Germans could transport this bunker—upside down and mounted on wheels—behind a vehicle, then flip it over at the desired location and dig it into the ground to serve as a camouflaged machine-gun nest.

Contents and Scale: This model kit is produced in the popular 1:72 military scale. The box contains polystyrene plastic parts for assembling the bunker (including the machine gun). Given its small size, the model can be built either in its transport configuration (on wheels) or as a dug-in emplacement within a diorama.

Versions & Decals: The kit includes decals and a painting guide to replicate a historical *Wehrmacht* (Heer) unit—specifically one deployed around 1943 in the Kursk region (Russia). This type of bunker was also used in the vicinity of the *Westwall* (Siegfried Line) and the Alsace-Lorraine region.
