Trumpeter | 07266 | German Pz.Kpfw. KV-2 754(r) tank | 1:72
Subject: The KV-2 was a massive Soviet tank, featuring a distinctive, towering turret and a powerful 152mm howitzer. During Operation Barbarossa, the German Wehrmacht captured several of these vehicles. They modified the tanks for their own use—adding, among other things, a German commander’s cupola (along with a Notek light and optics)—and designated them as *Beutepanzer* Pz.Kpfw. KV-2 754(r).
Contents and Scale: The kit is produced in the popular 1:72 scale. The box contains cleanly molded polystyrene plastic parts, one-piece vinyl tracks, and a decal sheet featuring prominent German identification markings (*Balkenkreuze*).
Detailing: Despite its compact scale, the kit boasts fine surface details, such as the weld seams on the massive turret and the specific German modifications.
Not included: glue, paint, and figures.
