The Sd.Kfz.251 series entered service in 1939 as the German Army’s standard armoured personnel carrier. The /8 variant was designed specifically for frontline medical evacuation, allowing wounded soldiers to be transported under armour protection. These vehicles served on nearly every front, from Poland and France to North Africa and the Eastern Front. The medical markings give this halftrack a unique presence in any WWII diorama.
