The AMR 35 ZT2 was a French light reconnaissance tank, developed shortly before the outbreak of the Second World War. The vehicle was intended for infantry support and reconnaissance missions, and distinguished itself with its 25 mm anti‑tank gun, which was more powerful than the armament of earlier AMR variants. The ZT2 was deployed during the Battle of France in 1940, where it took part in the French efforts to slow down the German advance.
