History

The Sd.Kfz.165 Hummel (“Hummel” = bumblebee) was a German self‑propelled artillery vehicle, equipped with the powerful 15 cm sFH 18 howitzer. It was deployed from 1943 onward on the Eastern Front, in Italy, and later in Western Europe. The Hummel played a crucial role in supporting armored divisions with mobile, heavy artillery firepower.

The Late Version is characterized by improved armor plates, an updated internal layout, and several detail changes based on frontline experience.
