The KTO Rosomak is a modern Polish 8×8 infantry fighting vehicle based on the Finnish Patria AMV. It gained international recognition during NATO operations in Afghanistan, where Polish forces used it extensively. Thanks to its strong armour, excellent mobility and high protection against IEDs, the vehicle earned the nickname “The Green Devil”, this is a testament to its effectiveness in combat.
The Rosomak served in patrols, troop transport, fire support and high‑risk missions where its survivability proved superior to many comparable vehicles. Its battlefield reputation made it one of the most respected modern armoured vehicles in NATO service.
