The Fordson WOT2H ‘Tin Cargo Bed’ was a variant within the well‑known WOT series (War Office Truck), which was produced in large numbers for the British Army between 1940 and 1945. The WOT2H distinguished itself through its metal cargo bed, the “tin cargo bed”, which was more durable than the wooden versions and better suited to heavy use in a wide range of climate conditions.

Thanks to the robust Ford V8 engine, these vehicles were known for their reliability and ease of maintenance.
